Counselling & Psychotherapy
How are you feeling? What are you thinking? What actions are you taking? Why are these things happening? Those are some of the classical questions asked by a therapist, but you’ve already been asking these questions about yourself. The answers are different for each person, and for different points in time. You might respond with, “I’m anxious, or sad, or angry”, “I’m troubled about the past, or I’m worried about the future”, “I’m drinking too much, or I’m distancing my family”. Sometimes the answer is, “I don’t know, but I want to figure it out”.
I’ve worked in the mental health field for over 20 years, in various organizations. Giving me the opportunity to work with individuals, partners and groups, from teens to seniors. I have extensive experience helping people cope with Depression, Anxiety, trauma, anger management, addiction, relationship, and work related challenges.
